Joan Watson’s Clay Workshop was great fun. 10 attendees was about all the workshop space at the Gallery can accommodate, and we filled it. Everyone learned (or relearned) about clay, working it, and forming it. Joan’s the best! letting pieces dry, get ready for burnishing or firing happened out side in the sun and wind. The class firing was cancelled due to massive storm threats, but a sub-group tried it on their own. Most of the pieces turned into archeological bits… Ah maybe better luck next year!
