Our Food and Wine Village where the best of local breweries, distilleries, and farms serve up hot eats and cold treats from tents on the bay. Christmas Tree Bonfire 5:45PM Great Ice Bonfire Pit, City Bay
Be there for the grand kickoff of the Great Ice! festival with our annual Christmas Tree bonfire. Fireworks will follow at 6:45pm. Drop your tree off at Hero's Welcome General Store prior to 2/18/22 to make your contribution to the blaze.

Great Ice! kicks off with a fireworks display over City Bay in North Hero. Food and drink vendors will be on hand. The Great Ice! Christmas Tree Bonfire starts at 5:45 with the fireworks show at 6:45pm and a Skate Party on our lighted rink to follow
Skate Party 7:00PM - 8:00PM City Bay
We'll krank up the music and light the rink for an after fireworks skate party. Vendors will be on hand with refreshments for the whole family.

Lake Champlain Islands Economic Development Corporation is excited to host the Champlain Islands Business Expo at the Great Ice Event, again this year! The Expo will be held at the Community Hall on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 in North Hero Village from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participating vendors are welcome to bring products to sell or display information about their business products or services or a sampling of both. There will be lots of local folks and visitors from neighboring communities and this is a great opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to the community and invite visitors to return during the summer tourist season.

Join North Hero Parks and Rec volunteers for a snowshoe trek at Camp Ingalls. Learn about the history of this NH town park and enjoy the peacefulness of the forest. The trail is rolling and gentle, appropriate for beginners to the experienced. Bring your own snowshoes or email tgmarron@comcast.net to reserve a pair. Afterwards sip complimentary hot chocolate and warm up by the campfire.

Great Ice! Barn Dance featuring The Tenderbellies 6:00PM - 9:00PM North Hero Community Center
Warm up after a day of skating with dancing and live music from the Tenderbellies at the North Hero Community Hall. The Tenderbellies are a Burlington-based string band that seamlessly blends Americana, bluegrass, new grass, jazz and rock to create a performance suitable for any audience. This is a free event thanks to a generous sponsorship from Kraemer & Kin Brewery and Green TARA Space. Light refreshments will be available.

Ski, skate, walk, just get there any way you can. Trek the 1.7 miles ungroomed path over the ice to Knight Island State Park where hot chocolate and refreshments will be served at the Ranger Station.
